I am a Consultant ENT Surgeon with a specialist interest in Otology, providing care for both adult and paediatric patients. My clinical practice includes the assessment and management of a wide range of ear, nose, and throat conditions, with particular focus on hearing loss and ear disorders.
Commonly treated conditions include hearing loss, glue ear, tonsillitis, eardrum perforations, tinnitus, as well as general adult and paediatric ENT such as nasal obstruction, sore throats and neck lumps.
I graduated in Medicine from Queen’s University Belfast in 2007 and completed Foundation and ENT Surgical Training in Northern Ireland. In 2019, I undertook the prestigious Graham Fraser Fellowship in Cochlear and Auditory Implants in Sydney, Australia - gaining advanced experience in complex otology and implantable hearing technologies.
Mr Toner holds a substantive Consultant post with the South Eastern Trust, working at the Ulster Hospital, the Royal Victoria Hospital as well as in the Regional Auditory Implant centre for NI.
