I am an ENT surgeon with specialist expertise in Children with ENT conditions. This includes common issues such as tonsillitis, snoring and sleep issues, hearing issues and ear infections and blocked noses. I also look after more complex issues and children with additional needs.
I have pioneered the use of Coblator tonsilotomy in NI as an effective, safer alternative to traditional tonsillectomy with significantly reduced pain and quicker recovery.
I am one of two Specialist Paediatric ENT surgeons in N Ireland.
My NHS practice is in the Royal Victoria Hospital and Royal Belfast hospital for Sick Children. I see private patients in the Ulster Independent Clinic on Wednesdays.
I completed ENT training in Northern Ireland, before undertaking a Paediatric ENT fellowship in Starship Hospital, Auckland. I then worked as a Consultant in Crumlin Children's Hospital Dublin before taking up my current role in 2016.
I am the Training Program Director for ENT in NI.
