Worked in the specialty of Paediatrics since 1999, focussing on training in my specialist field in the later years of specialty training.
Employed as a clinical fellow in Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition in Birmingham Children's Hospital 2012-2013
Returned to the post as a Consultant Paediatric Gastroenterologist in RBHSC in June 2013.
Dr McLoughlin looks after babies, children and young people with disorders of the gastrointestinal tract and liver as well as those with nutritional issues - poor feeding, suboptimal weight gain and weight loss.
Dr McLoughlin has links with several main UK centres and those further afield, often working collaboratively to optimise the care for my patients.
She enjoys teaching all healthcare professionals.
Dr McLoughlin has presented locally and nationally and has published widely.
