I am a consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist. I graduated in Medicine from Queen's University Belfast, having previously attained an intercalated BSc in Anatomy. I trained in Northern Ireland, South Africa and Scotland, initially gaining qualifications in Internal Medicine before moving into Obstetrics and Gynaecology. I also completed subspecialty training in Reproductive Medicine and trained in Psychosexual Medicine. I worked for 27years as a consultant in the Ulster Hospital before retiring at the end of 2023. As a young consultant I set up Dundonald Consulting Rooms and also Northern Ireland's first private IVF clinic, Origin Fertilitycare. I was later a founding partner of Belfast Fertility. I continue to do private gynaecology, and I work in TFP-Belfast Fertility and I also do NHS and overseas locums.

My particular interests are infertility, psychosexual medicine, general gynaecology and prolapse surgery.
