Healthcare Assistant – Surgical Ward Units

We are recruiting for an experienced Healthcare Assistant to join our Ward Units team in delivering a high standard of care to all service users. Working under the direct supervision of a Registered General Nurse the successful applicant will undertake designated duties, within the required competencies and skillset.

Minimum 30 hours per week

Essential criteria includes:

·       NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in a health and social care related subject.

·       2 years experience of working as a Healthcare Assistant/Nursing Auxiliary.  

·       Competent venepuncture skills

·       Competent in carrying out patient observations and designated duties and testing.
