Patients
admitted to the hospital are nursed on both Levels
1 and 2. Individualised patient care is planned, co-ordinated
and delivered by a committed team of qualified nursing
staff who have been involved in the development of
patient services and, along with the support of ancillary
staff, make the quality of patient care what it is
today.
There is on-site 24 hour medical care provided by
full time Resident Medical Officers.
This care is further enhanced by nurses with specialist
training and skills in areas such as breast care,
diabetes care, stoma care, tissue viability, infection
control, pain control and paediatrics.
The needs of children who attend the hospital are
catered for in child facilities including a fully
equipped play room.
All patients are nursed in single rooms with ensuite
facilities, nursecall system, satellite TV, radio
and telephone.
Catering at the hospital is provided by Sodexho and
receives many favourable comments.
